Many bloggers do this thing called “Wordless Wednesday” and today I am getting on board. As the name suggests, it’s a post with few words. Today I’ve decided to let my pictures do the talking. Here’s how Miss A and I spent our morning.
- Fallen leaves
- Collecting leaves
- Colours of Autumn
Observing, collecting, sorting and designing…
- Collecting leaves
- A colourful basket
- Artist at work
- Flower complete
There’s really no better activity in Autumn. The colours are magnificent and collecting leaves is such a simple and pure activity. It’s also the cheapest and loveliest craft activity for the kids.
- An Autumn Fox
- Imagination
- Sun, flower, grass
Seriously, there is no better time of year. I especially love Autumn as it’s Miss A’s birth season and the season I became a mother. It reminds me of the many walks I took in the early weeks of motherhood; the prettiest time of year, enjoying the many shades of Amber….
So lovely
Gorgeous
You’ve just inspired me to do this with the girls after school today.
Lovely. Enjoy x
Wonderful! Nice basket too! 😉
I love the colours in the leaves and such a cool way to use them.
Thanks Toni. Simple, free, happy entertainment!
What a beautiful way to spend time together. I was a bit taken by the fox! Very cute.
Yeah, I was seriously impressed too. Amazing what kids can create!
What a beautiful representation. Autumn is my season too. I’m a spring baby, and my son was born in The grey days of I winter, but autumn always seems like home. Xx
“Autumn seems like home” – I love that. Feels like home for me too 🙂
I love where I live but one of the things we don’t really get up here in the warmer climate is a proper Autumn. I’m not seeing those colours around here at all. I was in the states last year for Fall and the colours were incredible. I really love the season in its full glory.
Oh yes, it’s quite different isn’t it Rachael. I was in Canada in the Fall once and it was breathtaking. But Melbourne is pretty good too 🙂
Yes I’m quite impressed by your pics!
