How did mother’s day creep up on us so fast? It seems to get earlier every year. Aren’t we still recovering from Christmas? I love mother’s day. Not only is it entirely acceptable to be grammatically incorrect (although there’s some debate over the correct placement of the apostrophe), but it is also a time to thank your own mum, and be thanked for being a mum. At no other stage in your life do you feel a greater respect and appreciation for your mum than when you become a mum yourself. Becoming a mum brings into focus the dedication, love and sacrifices that you’re own mum made.
